Sparking Curiosity Through Hands-On Learning

Welcome to Discovery Home School Days! A variety of STEAM-centered (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) hands-on activities are available for children to explore, thoughtfully designed to support growing bodies and minds through movement, making, and critical thinking. Families are encouraged to stay and play once the program has finished; adult tickets are for general museum admission only.

Discovery Home School Days is specially designed for children ages 4–8, with activities tailored to their curiosity and learning style. Younger children ages 3 and under are welcome to join the fun too—just note that a $4 program fee applies if they’d like to participate in the activities. Please talk to a front staff member if your little one would like to join in on the fun!
